The Defence Investment Fund invests in innovative companies in the fields of defence and security. The Fund was established following the signing of a financing agreement between ILTE and the Ministries of National Defence, Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania.

Who is eligible?
- Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that develop, manufacture, or provide defense and/or dual-use products or services;
- Individuals developing business ideas or products in the dual-use or defense sectors.
Investments
Depending on the company's stage and the development team, various sizes of investments are allocated.

How does it work?
The instrument operates through the ScaleWolf Accelerator and ScaleWolf VC funds, which offer:
- A pre-acceleration program aimed at forming teams and ideas. Selected participants with ideas and the potential to create or who are developing new products in the defense sector are offered mentorship and financial support;
- An acceleration program that includes training and consulting on topics such as company formation, team building, legal matters, fundraising, public pitching, sales, product development, and other issues. It also provides consultations with defense industry and technology experts. Initial investments are offered to selected companies operating in the defense and security sector;
- Venture capital investments for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) already operating in the defense and security sector.
