Sustainability
In our efforts to contribute to environmental and societal well-being, promote sustainable governance, and pursue long-term investment goals, we integrate sustainability principles into our operations. These principles have become an integral part of ILTE’s vision — to be a centre of strategic investment and expertise for a strong, economically sustainable, and forward-looking Lithuania — as well as a reflection of ILTE’s values: creative curiosity, estimated courage, and unity in diversity.
As we foster a culture of work and service grounded in sustainability principles, we also incorporate sustainability considerations into the services we provide — including the application of the Do No Significant Harm (DNSH) principle in our financing conditions.
Areas of application of sustainability
ILTE and its directly controlled company UAB Kofinansavimas implement their sustainability policy through sustainability principles in three key areas of sustainability: Environment, Social, Governance (ESG).

Environment
ILTE is committed to preserving the environment and natural resources, and also seeks to increase responsibility for environmental protection and awareness both within and outside the organization, promotes eco-efficiency, efficient use of energy and other resources, waste and pollution reduction, waste management, reduction of consumption of hazardous or harmful substances, supports the development of environmentally friendly, new technologies, products and markets. These requirements apply to all stakeholders, i.e. employees, when encouraging them, financial intermediaries, when selecting them and concluding contracts with them for the implementation of financial instruments, suppliers of services and goods, when conducting public procurement, as well as when making investment decisions and developing new or improving existing financial instruments. Environmental protection provisions are set out in the Environmental Protection Policy (in Lithuanian language).

Social
ILTE creates a values-based organizational culture and advocates for equal rights and opportunities for employees at work, and these provisions are set out in the Code of Ethics, Equal Opportunities, Employee Remuneration, Social Responsibility policies (in Lithuanian language). ILTE actively supports the well-being of its employees and strives to ensure a proper work-life balance. ILTE encourages employees to continuously improve their skills and offers to upgrade their qualifications and increase their competencies through special training and similar programs. Respect for fundamental human rights and their promotion are applied in ILTE's daily activities. ILTE must refuse to cooperate with interested parties if they disregard the principles of respect for persons - violate human dignity due to ethnic origin, race, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, education or religion.

Governance
The structure and organization of ILTE's activities must ensure sound governance, effective internal control and division of responsibilities, with a strong focus on transparency and prevention of corruption and bribery, compliance with regulatory laws, and a focus on providing quality services. ILTE must refuse to cooperate with interested parties if they do not ensure the basic requirements of sound governance and transparency in their activities.
