Join Coinvest Capital team as an investment manager

We are looking for a new team member to join Coinvest Capital and make a significant impact in bringing early-stage investments into the most promising startups alongside business angels and other co-investors.

According to the Dealroom and Pitchbook reports for 2024, we continue to be one of the most active VC funds in both Lithuania and Central & Eastern Europe. Having our investment mandate further extended at the end of last year to include EU-based startups, as long as they create value for Lithuania, and awaiting final clearance confirmations of the new international investment committee, we look forward to growing our team.

Join us on our exciting journey to support the Lithuanian startup ecosystem and strengthen private co-investments!

When is the deadline to apply? The "lifeline" is now - we are an evergreen VC fund and make decisions not when the clock is ticking but when we believe we have found the right candidate, both in hiring and in our investment decisions.

Full job opportunity details are described below.

Job opening for an Investment Manager

Kofinansavimas UAB (the Company) is a fund management company, wholly-owned subsidiary of the national development bank UAB ILTE. We manage Coinvest Capital (the Fund), a venture capital fund with EUR 44,3 million of committed capital, that always co-invests in start-up companies together with private venture capital funds, business angels, or other investors. By now we have co-invested with partners EUR 44,6 million in 43 startup companies and made 5 exits.

Coinvest Capital is expanding its activities and invites you to join as an Investment Manager.

The new colleague will be expected to:

  • prepare documentation and drafting contracts for new investment transactions and participate in negotiations;
  • coordinate the investment decision-making and portfolio monitoring processes, different stakeholders and their effective alignment;
  • draft the Fund's internal and external reports with the assistance of investment analysts, and ensure their quality and compliance with the requirements set;
  • oversee agendas, materials and implementation of Fund's Investment Committee decisions, communicate decisions to portfolio companies and/or relevant partners of the Company;
  • consult interested parties on the Fund's activities, facilitate community and share the best practices;
  • perform other tasks contributing to the overall success of the Fund, portfolio companies and co-investors.

The ideal candidate for the Investment Manager's position should have:

  • skills to plan and manage diverse projects, coordinate team work, and ensure portfolio management and compliance;
  • skills in extracting key information, formulating conclusions and proposals for decision making;
  • experience in financial modelling and analysis.

Do ideals exist in life? We don't know, but we are searching and supporting our team's professional development. Same as looking for future unicorns among start-up ideas and strengthening wings for business angels.

Prerequisites for the candidate:

  • Impeccable reputation
  • Excellent English and Lithuanian
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, law, etc.

Advantages of a candidate:

  • Experience in working at a foreign VC or PE fund

  • As having important additional character traits, we will consider members of the Lithuanian Rifflemen Union, National Defence Volunteer Forces volunteers, and retired military servicemen and servicewomen.
