Compensation for the Guarantee Fee to Entities in the Fisheries Sector
80% of the guarantee fee is compensated. Entities in the fisheries sector pay only the non-compensated share of the fee for the granting of the guarantee.
It is a translation. Due to possible different interpretations because of differences in the languages, the Lithuanian approved legal act should be applied.

The measure is open to micro, small or medium-sized enterprises as defined on 14 December 2022. Commission Regulation (EU) 2022/2473 declaring certain categories of aid to undertakings active in the production, processing and marketing of fisheries and aquaculture products compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU), Annex I. The undertaking must not be bankrupt and/or being wound up.
The following may apply for compensation:
- undertakings in the fisheries sector which take out loans from financial institutions for investment projects for the production, processing and/or marketing of fishery and aquaculture products listed in Article 5(a) and (b) of Regulation (EU) No 1379/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2013 on the common organisation of the markets in fishery and aquaculture products, amending Council Regulations (EC) No 1184/2006 and (EC) No 1224/2009 and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No 104/2000 as last amended
- undertakings in the fisheries sector which purchase, by means of financial lease/leasing, production equipment and/or facilities for the production, processing and/or marketing of fisheries and/or aquaculture products.
